When Dodge was looking for a sound partner for the top Challenger model, the SRT8, they turned to long-time partner of the Chrysler Group, to design a sound system as powerful as the Challenger SRT8. Harman Kardon specialists developed a unique music system that transforms the interior of the Dodge Challenger into a concert hall on wheels. The 7.4 speaker architecture with 19 speakers in 12 locations together with the 900 W 11-channel Class-D Amplifier in High Voltage Technology and Harman Kardon’s Logic7® sound processing technology create an audio experience that is second to none.

The module, weighing only 1.3 kilograms, delivers deep bass sounds powerfully and precisely to the speakers. Thanks to the Class-D technology, the amplifier is more efficient than an analogue amplifier and, as a result, only a small amount of heat is generated and additional cooling is not required. In turn, this gives compact dimensions of only 19.2 × 11.6 × 5.2 centimetres and allows space-saving installation under the driver's seat or at the rear. The compact and light Class-D amplifier works extremely economically and efficiently.
