When Dodge was looking for a sound partner for the Charger SRT model they turned to Harman Kardon a long-time partner of the Chrysler Group to design a sound system as powerful as the Charger SRT itself. Harman Kardon specialists developed a unique audio system that transforms the interior of the Dodge Charger into a concert hall on wheels. The 7.4 speaker architecture with 15 speakers, together with the 825 watts equivalent*� high voltage 12-channel Class-D Amplifier and Harman Kardon’s Logic7® surround sound technology create an audio experience that is second to none.

CREATING A UNIQUE SOUND EXPERIENCE

The audio system in the Dodge Charger SRT uses GreenEdge speaker and amplifier technology to offer superior sound quality and high sound pressure level outputs with minimum energy consumption. GreenEdge amplifiers alone outperform traditional amplifier efficiency by up to 55 percent, representing a net efficiency of more than 90 percent in some cases. The speakers in the Dodge Charger SRT are tuned for maximum efficiency and are perfectly matched to the amplifier output.

The 2013 Charger SRT is a wolf, and it's dressed in wolf's clothing. Making a bold design statement that is classic Charger lore, the Charger SRT is sculpted and cut to look aggressive and able from any angle.

    The high-performance Class-D amplifiers feature special power packs that fulfil every possible desire for fun and detail-rich sound with an amazingly high sound pressure level (SPL). The module, weighing only 1.3 kilograms, delivers deep bass sounds powerfully and precisely to the speakers. Thanks to the Class-D technology, the amplifier is more efficient than an analogue amplifier and, as a result, only a small amount of heat is generated and additional cooling is not required. In turn, this gives compact dimensions of only 19.2 × 11.6 × 5.2 centimetres and allows space-saving installation under the driver's seat or at the rear.
